These mercury-free thermometers are traceable to NIST and cover ranges from -90 to 25°C or -130 to 80°F, allowing for verification of sample temperatures in freezers and ultra-low freezers. They provide accurate temperature readings without sample contamination by utilizing the included filled bottle, which mimics the sample. For optimal results, the thermometer should be inserted into the bottle and placed near the samples. The thermometers are constructed with organic liquid or EnviroKleen™ certified Enviro-Safe® liquid and feature permanently fused markings and lead-free glass. Select thermometers come with a PFA coating that safely contains glass and liquid in case of breakage. Each thermometer is manufactured and tested by a USA quality team and is individually serialized. The kit includes a multi-language statement of accuracy and traceability in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. If needed, individual thermometer calibration reports, factory calibrated thermometers, and custom calibration services are available.
