These mercury-free thermometers are traceable to NIST and cover ranges from -90 to 25°C or -130 to 80°F, allowing for verification of sample temperatures in freezers and ultra-low freezers. They provide accurate temperature readings without contamination by using a filled bottle (included) that mimics the sample. Users are advised to insert the thermometer into the bottle and place it near the samples for optimal results. The thermometers are made with organic liquid or EnviroKleen™ certified Enviro-Safe® liquid, feature permanently fused markings, and are constructed from lead-free glass. Select models come with a PFA coating that safely contains glass and liquid in case of breakage. These instruments are manufactured and tested by a quality team in the USA and are individually serialized. Each thermometer includes a multi-language statement of accuracy and traceability in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. Additionally, factory calibrated thermometers and custom calibration services are available, along with individual thermometer calibration reports upon request.
