These mercury-free thermometers are traceable to NIST and cover ranges from -5 to 20°C or 20 to 70°F, allowing verification of sample temperatures in blood bank refrigerators. Accurate temperature readings without sample contamination are achieved by using the filled bottle included in the kit, which mimics the sample. The thermometer should be inserted into the bottle and placed near the samples for optimal results. Each thermometer contains organic liquid or the EnviroKleen™ certified Enviro-Safe® liquid, features permanently fused markings, and is made of lead-free glass. Select thermometers are equipped with PFA coating to safely contain glass and liquid in case of breakage. Each thermometer is manufactured and tested by our quality team in the USA and is individually serialized. The package includes a multi-language statement of accuracy and traceability in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. For those requiring additional services, individual thermometer calibration reports, factory calibrated thermometers, or custom calibration services are available.
