This wide range of combined-form hydrometers is designed for use in the food and beverage industry, as well as other fields, to accurately measure % sucrose by weight within a range from 0° to 101° Brix. Each hydrometer features a built-in thermometer with a temperature scale of 0/50°C and conforms to the accuracy requirements for ASTM thermo-hydrometers. The hydrometers measure 381mm (15") in length and are made with lead-free ballast and glass. The thermometer utilizes a mercury-free, blue spirit organic liquid fill, and each unit is individually serialized and hand inspected by our U.S. quality team. Additionally, the product is packaged with a multi-language (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) statement of accuracy that indicates accuracy traceable to NIST. It is important to store combined form hydrometers in a clean, dry, safe place, avoiding extreme temperatures, and while enclosed thermometers serve as a general reference, a calibrated standard thermometer is recommended for temperature-critical applications.
