These combined-form hydrometers, featuring a convenient built-in thermometer, are designed to measure the relative density (specific gravity) of oil and petroleum-related products across various ranges from -1° to 101° API in accordance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards. They conform to the accuracy requirements for ASTM thermo-hydrometers and are made with a lead-free ballast and glass. Each hydrometer measures 381mm (15") in length and has a temperature standardization of 60°F (15°C). The built-in thermometer utilizes a mercury-free blue spirit organic liquid fill with a temperature scale ranging from 0 to 150°F. Each unit is individually serialized, hand inspected by our U.S. quality team, and packaged with a multi-language statement of accuracy in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, indicating accuracy traceable to NIST. Note that combined form thermo-hydrometers should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place and should not be subjected to extreme temperatures; the built-in thermometers are intended for general reference only, and a calibrated standard thermometer is recommended for temperature-critical applications.
