Available in a wide range of models measuring specific gravity/relative density (g/cm) of various liquids from 0.600 to 1.920, with 0.0005 divisions, specific gravity hydrometers are highly utilized in industries such as food and beverage, chemical, pharmacology, transportation, and refrigeration. The hydrometer measures 325mm (12.8") in length, features a lead-free ballast and glass construction, and is individually serialized. It has a temperature standardization of 60°F (15°C) and is hand inspected by a U.S. quality team to ensure accuracy. Each unit is packaged with a multi-language statement of accuracy (in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) that indicates accuracy traceable to NIST. It is recommended that hydrometers be stored in a clean, dry, safe place and not subjected to extreme temperatures.
