This wide range of combined-form hydrometers are utilized in the food and beverage industry, as well as other sectors, to measure % sucrose by weight across ranges from 0° to 101° Brix, featuring a built-in thermometer with a temperature scale of 0/50°C. These hydrometers conform to the accuracy requirements for ASTM thermohydrometers and have a length of 381mm (15"). They are constructed with a lead-free ballast and glass, while the thermometer contains a mercury-free, blue spirit organic liquid fill. Each unit is individually serialized and hand inspected by our U.S. quality team. The product is packaged with a multi-language statement of accuracy, available in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, indicating accuracy traceable to NIST. It is important to note that combined form hydrometers should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place and should not be exposed to extreme temperatures. For temperature-critical applications, the use of a calibrated standard thermometer is recommended.
