The chemically inert polyethylene container is designed with a deep screw cap to ensure maximum protection against breakage. When the cap is removed, the slides project 12.7mm out of the jar, allowing for easy grip and clean handling. Internal grooves accommodate 5 to 10 microscope slides measuring 25 x 75mm (1 x 3"), and the container can also function as a specimen jar that holds vials up to 12ml. Additionally, the cap features a small loop for the attachment of wired tags, and it is recommended to tape the container for secure shipment.
