This dual function moisture meter is capable of detecting moisture in wood and building materials by pin or by running the instrument over the surface area, employing a non-destructive method. The R6018 displays icons to indicate low, medium, or high levels of moisture and features an audible alert that increases in frequency as the detected moisture level rises. The kit includes pin and pinless functions, allowing for moisture detection in various materials such as sheetrock, cardboard, plaster, concrete, and mortar. It offers a pinless measurement depth of up to 1" (25mm) and classifies moisture status as low, medium, or high. Additional features include audible alert and data hold functions, built-in measurement verification and battery check, a low battery indicator, and an auto shut-off function. The device also includes replaceable pins for extended usability, ensuring consistent performance and ease of maintenance.
