The infrared thermometer R2310 features a 12:1 distance to spot ratio and has been drop tested up to 9.8 ft (3 m). It is capable of tracking maximum, minimum, average, and differential readings, as well as setting high/low alarms and continuous monitoring. Key attributes include a built-in laser pointer for identifying the target area, user-selectable temperature units in °F or °C, digitally adjustable emissivity, a backlit display, trigger lock for continuous monitoring, low battery indication, and auto shut off. The device is also dustproof and designed for rugged use. Its accuracy specifications are ±3.6°F (1.8°C) or ±1.8% RDG., whichever is greater for temperatures ≥32°F (0°C), and ±3.6°F + 0.1°F (1.8°C + 0.1°C)/RDG for temperatures <32°F (0°C).
