It allows for manual recording of up to 99 readings on an SD card (max 16GB) and supports automated recording with a selectable sampling rate from 1 to 3600 seconds, facilitating quick generation of Excel files with raw data. The device measures ambient light levels in foot-candles or lux and utilizes a photodiode with color correction filters that meet C.I.E. spectrum specifications. It also offers contact temperature measurement using a Type J/K thermocouple, with temperature readings available in °C or °F.
