The R6250SD measures temperature, humidity, and direct or radiant sunlight using Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) to determine the "what it feels like" temperature. It includes a user-adjustable WBGT audible alarm and the option to adjust settings for indoor temperature measurement. Key features consist of data hold, max/min functions, and an easy-to-read backlit LCD display. The device can manually record up to 99 readings using an SD card (max 16GB), or automatically by selecting a desired sampling rate from 1 to 3600 seconds, allowing for quick generation of an Excel file with raw data without the need for additional software. The R6250SD is OSHA recommended and features optional accessories such as a tripod and AC adapter for continuous long-term monitoring. It measures temperature, humidity, dew point, wet bulb, black globe, and indoor/outdoor WBGT, while the in/out function displays the WBGT value with or without direct sun exposure. The black globe temperature (TG) monitors the effects of direct solar radiation on an exposed surface, and it offers an adjustable audible alarm and user-selectable unit of measure (°F or °C). The real-time data logger integrates an SD memory card, ensuring comprehensive monitoring capabilities.
