The R4500SD measures air velocity and air temperature while incorporating a built-in contact thermometer. It features automatic temperature compensation, data hold, max/min functions, and an easy-to-read backlit LCD display. The device allows users to record data using an SD card (maximum 16GB), enabling manual recording of up to 99 readings or automatic recording by selecting a desired sampling rate from 1 to 3600 seconds. It can quickly generate an Excel file with raw data without the need for software. The R4500SD measures air velocity in various units including FPM, m/s, KPH, MPH, and knots, and offers contact temperature measurement with a type J/K thermocouple option. It utilizes a thermistor sensor for fast air temperature readings and a hot wire probe for precise low air velocity measurements. The device functions as a real-time data logger with an integrated SD memory card, features an easy-to-read backlit LCD display, and includes data hold and min/max functions. It has a tripod mount for long-term monitoring and a low battery indicator with auto shut off.
