The QuietCool R-40 winterized insert is designed for use in areas experiencing harsh winter conditions. It is installed during the months when the QuietCool system is not in use, effectively increasing the R insulation value of the damper box to R-45. The model WI-1436 is specifically compatible with the QuietCool CL-6400 and QuietCool ES-6400 units. This product is manufactured in the USA and should be noted that it cannot be shipped to Hawaii.
