The Manitowoc Arctic Pure Plus AR40000P is a primary water filter assembly designed for ice machine models producing 1001-2500 lbs/day, with a capacity of 40,000 gallons. It achieves a 95% average reduction of chlorine from the incoming water supply, ensuring that the ice tastes and smells fresher. The filter features a silver impregnated carbon block that provides antimicrobial protection against bacteria, microorganisms, algae, mold, and slime on ice machine surfaces. It is engineered with slow PHOS (slowly soluble polyphosphate) to inhibit scale formation and corrosion, and offers ultra-fine filtration at 0.5 microns, providing triple protection from harmful contaminants that can impact the ice machine's performance. The system helps reduce ice machine costs and maintenance frequency by minimizing scale, impurities, and contaminants entering the machine. Cartridges are easy to install, safe, sanitary, and can be changed rapidly without turning off the water supply. The filter is certified to NSF/ANSI standards 42, 53, 372, and CSA B483.1 by IAPMO and meets CUPC requirements, and it is proudly made in the USA.
