The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to deliver higher initial efficiencies and superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. It features a MERV 10 efficiency rating when tested in accordance with ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017, making it an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. This filter is particularly suitable for applications such as hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical environments, commercial office buildings, and systems aimed at improving indoor air quality while extending the life of final higher efficiency filters. Additionally, the high capacity XL10-HC filters share similar construction with the standard capacity models but offer approximately 30% more media, resulting in an extended filter life.
