The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter with a MERV 10 efficiency rating when tested according to ASHRAE Test Standard 52.2-2017, designed to provide higher initial efficiencies and superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. It serves as an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. The Multi-Pleat XL10 is suitable for applications in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical environments, commercial office buildings, and other systems aiming to improve indoor air quality and extend the life of higher efficiency final filters. The high capacity XL10-HC filters share the same construction as the standard XL10 but include approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life, ideal for filtration systems with filter change schedules based on final pressure drop readings.
