The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to provide higher initial efficiencies and superior overall performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. The filter achieves an efficiency rating of MERV 10 when tested according to ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017. It serves as an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters, making it suitable for applications including hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical facilities, and commercial office buildings, where improved indoor air quality and extended life of final higher efficiency filters are required. The High Capacity XL10-HC variant features similar construction to the standard filter but includes approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life and suitability for filtration systems with filter change schedules based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
