The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to deliver higher initial efficiencies and superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters, achieving a MERV 10 efficiency when tested per ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017. This filter serves as an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters, making it suitable for applications in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical settings, commercial office buildings, and systems aimed at enhancing indoor air quality and prolonging the life of final higher efficiency filters. The high capacity XL10-HC variant features a construction similar to the standard capacity filter but incorporates approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life, ideal for filtration systems where change schedules are based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
