The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter engineered to provide higher initial efficiencies and overall superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. It has an efficiency rating of MERV 10 when tested in accordance with ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017, making it an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. The filter is ideally suited for applications in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical environments, commercial office buildings, and systems requiring improved indoor air quality and extended life of final higher efficiency filters. The high capacity XL10-HC filters are constructed similarly to the standard capacity but contain approximately 30% more media, which results in extended filter life and makes them suitable for filtration systems where filter replacement is based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
