The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter with a MERV 10 efficiency rating tested according to ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017, offering higher initial efficiencies and superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. This filter provides an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters, making it suitable for applications such as hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical facilities, commercial office buildings, and systems requiring improved indoor air quality and extended life of final high-efficiency filters. The high capacity XL10-HC version features approximately 30% more media than the standard capacity, resulting in extended filter life and making it ideal for filtration systems where filter change intervals depend on recommended final pressure drop readings.
