The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to deliver higher initial efficiencies and superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. It boasts an efficiency rating of MERV 10 when tested in accordance with ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017, making it an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. This filter is particularly suited for applications in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical settings, commercial office buildings, and systems aimed at improving indoor air quality while extending the life of higher efficiency final filters. Additionally, high capacity XL10-HC filters are constructed similarly to the standard capacity filters but feature approximately 30% more media, which contributes to extended filter life and is ideal for filtration systems that rely on final pressure drop readings for filter change schedules.
