The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to provide higher initial efficiencies and overall superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. It has a MERV 10 efficiency rating when tested according to ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017. This filter serves as an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. It is ideal for use in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical applications, commercial office buildings, and systems aiming to improve indoor air quality and extend the life of higher efficiency final filters. The High Capacity XL10-HC variant features the same construction as the standard version but includes approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life and making it suitable for filtration systems where filter change schedules depend on recommended final pressure drop readings.
