The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to provide higher initial efficiencies and overall superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. It has an efficiency rating of MERV 10 when tested according to ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017, making it an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. This filter is suitable for applications in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical environments, and commercial office buildings to improve indoor air quality and extend the life of higher efficiency final filters. The High Capacity XL10-HC version shares the same construction as the standard capacity but includes approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life. This makes the XL10-HC ideal for filtration systems where filter change schedules are based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
