The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to offer higher initial efficiencies and superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. It achieves a MERV 10 efficiency when tested according to ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017, making it an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. This filter is particularly suitable for applications in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical settings, commercial office buildings, and systems aimed at improving indoor air quality while extending the life of final higher efficiency filters. The high capacity XL10-HC filters feature a similar construction to the standard capacity filters but include approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life, making them ideal for filtration systems where filter change schedules are based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
