The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to provide higher initial efficiencies and superior overall performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. It has a MERV 10 efficiency rating when tested according to ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017. This filter offers an excellent upgrade from disposable and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters, making it suitable for applications such as hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical environments, commercial office buildings, and systems aimed at improving indoor air quality and extending the life of higher efficiency final filters. The high capacity XL10-HC version features construction similar to the standard model but includes approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life. This extended media capacity makes the XL10-HC ideal for filtration systems where change schedules are based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
