The KOCH Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to deliver higher initial efficiencies and overall superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. Tested in accordance with ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017, the Multi-Pleat XL10 achieves an efficiency rating of MERV 10. This efficiency makes the filter a suitable upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. It is ideal for use in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical settings, commercial office buildings, and systems aimed at improving indoor air quality and extending the life of final higher efficiency filters. The high capacity XL10-HC version offers approximately 30% more media than the standard capacity model, resulting in extended filter life, which is beneficial for filtration systems that base filter change schedules on recommended final pressure drop readings.
