The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to deliver higher initial efficiencies and overall superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. It has a MERV 10 efficiency rating tested in accordance with ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017, making it an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. The Multi-Pleat XL10 is suitable for use in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical applications, commercial office buildings, and systems focused on improving indoor air quality and extending the life of final higher efficiency filters. The high capacity XL10-HC filters share similar construction with the standard capacity filters but include approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life. This makes the XL10-HC ideal for filtration systems where filter change schedules rely on recommended final pressure drop readings.
