The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter that delivers higher initial efficiencies and superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters, achieving a MERV rating of 10 when tested in accordance with ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017. This filter is an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters, making it suitable for applications such as hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical environments, commercial office buildings, and systems aimed at improving indoor air quality while extending the life of final higher efficiency filters. The High Capacity XL10-HC variant features similar construction to the standard capacity filter but includes approximately 30% more media, resulting in an extended filter life. This makes the XL10-HC ideal for filtration systems where filter change schedules are based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
