The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to deliver higher initial efficiencies and superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters, achieving an efficiency rating of MERV 10 when tested according to ASHRAE Test Standard 52.2-2017. This filter serves as an exceptional upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters, making it suitable for applications such as hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical processes, and commercial office buildings, as well as systems aimed at enhancing indoor air quality and prolonging the lifespan of higher efficiency final filters. The high capacity XL10-HC variant features similar construction to the standard model but includes approximately 30% more media, resulting in a longer filter life, making it ideal for filtration systems where replacement schedules are determined by recommended final pressure drop readings.
