The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to provide higher initial efficiencies and superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. It achieves a MERV 10 efficiency rating when tested according to ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017, making it an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. The Multi-Pleat XL10 is suitable for use in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical applications, commercial office buildings, and ventilation systems aimed at improving indoor air quality and extending the life of higher efficiency final filters. The high capacity XL10-HC variant offers approximately 30% more media than the standard capacity filter, resulting in extended filter life, which is beneficial in filtration systems with change schedules based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
