The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to deliver higher initial efficiencies and superior overall performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. It achieves a MERV 10 efficiency rating when tested according to ASHRAE Test Standard 52.2-2017, making it an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. This filter is suitable for use in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical applications, commercial office buildings, and systems aimed at improving indoor air quality and extending the life of final higher efficiency filters. The high capacity XL10-HC version has approximately 30% more media than the standard capacity filter, resulting in extended filter life, which is beneficial for filtration systems with filter change schedules based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
