The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to provide higher initial efficiencies and superior overall performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. Tested in accordance with ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017, it achieves a MERV 10 efficiency rating, making it an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. The Multi-Pleat XL10 is well suited for applications in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical environments, commercial office buildings, and systems requiring improved indoor air quality and extended life of final higher efficiency filters. The high capacity XL10-HC variant features construction similar to the standard capacity model but includes approximately 30% more media, providing extended filter life. This makes the XL10-HC ideal for filtration systems where filter replacement intervals are based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
