The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to provide higher initial efficiencies and overall superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters, with an efficiency rating of MERV 10 tested in accordance with ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017. This filter serves as an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters, making it suitable for applications such as hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical environments, and commercial office buildings to improve indoor air quality and extend the life of higher efficiency final filters. The high capacity XL10-HC version shares similar construction to the standard filter but contains approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life and suitability for filtration systems that schedule filter changes based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
