The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter, designed to deliver higher initial efficiencies and superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. It has an efficiency rating of MERV 10 when tested in accordance with ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017, making it an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. This filter is well-suited for applications such as hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical settings, and commercial office buildings, as it enhances indoor air quality and extends the life of final higher efficiency filters. Additionally, the high capacity XL10-HC filters offer similar construction to the standard capacity but include approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life. This makes the XL10-HC ideal for filtration systems where filter change schedules are based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
