The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter, designed to achieve higher initial efficiencies and overall superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters, with an efficiency rating of MERV 10 when tested according to ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017. This filter serves as an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters, making it suitable for applications in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical settings, and commercial office buildings. It is particularly effective in improving indoor air quality and extending the life of higher efficiency final filters. The high capacity XL10-HC filters feature a similar construction to standard capacity filters but include approximately 30% more media, resulting in a longer filter life and making them ideal for filtration systems where changes are based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
