The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter, engineered to provide higher initial efficiencies and overall superior performance than MERV 8 pleated filters. The Multi-Pleat XL10 has an efficiency of MERV 10 when tested in accordance with ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017. This filter serves as an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters, making it suitable for various applications including hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical settings, and commercial office buildings, while also improving indoor air quality and extending the life of final higher efficiency filters. The high capacity XL10-HC filters are similar in construction to the standard capacity but feature approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life and making the XL10-HC ideal for filtration systems with change schedules based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
