The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter, designed to offer higher initial efficiencies and superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters, with a certified efficiency of MERV 10 as per ASHRAE Test Standard 52.2-2017. This filter serves as an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters and is particularly suitable for applications in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical settings, commercial office buildings, and other systems focused on enhancing indoor air quality while prolonging the life of final higher efficiency filters. The high capacity XL10-HC filters share a similar construction to the standard capacity filters but include approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life and making them the ideal choice for filtration systems where filter change schedules are based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
