The Koch Multi-Pleat XL10 is a medium efficiency extended surface pleated panel filter designed to deliver higher initial efficiencies and superior performance compared to MERV 8 pleated filters. This filter has a MERV rating of 10, tested in accordance with ASHRAE test standard 52.2-2017, making it an excellent upgrade from disposable filters and standard MERV 6, 7, and 8 pleated filters. It is well-suited for applications including hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical industries, commercial office buildings, and systems aimed at enhancing indoor air quality while prolonging the life of final higher efficiency filters. The high capacity XL10-HC variant features similar construction to the standard capacity version but includes approximately 30% more media, resulting in extended filter life and making it ideal for filtration systems with change schedules based on recommended final pressure drop readings.
