Tyvek® 400 garments are composed of flash spun high density polyethylene, creating a unique, nonwoven material exclusive to DuPont. This fabric provides an ideal balance of protection, durability, and comfort among limited use fabric technologies. Tyvek® 400 offers an inherent barrier against particles down to 1.0 micron in size, with protection built directly into the fabric, eliminating the risk of abrasion or wear associated with films or laminates. The durability of Tyvek® 400 fabric surpasses that of microporous film fabrics, ensuring consistently better barrier performance even after wear and abrasion. Applications for Tyvek® 400 include lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance and operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The garments feature an inseam length of 28 inches.
