Tyvek® 400 garments are composed of flash spun high density polyethylene, creating a unique, nonwoven material exclusive to DuPont. This fabric provides an ideal balance of protection, durability, and comfort among limited use fabric technologies. Tyvek® 400 offers an inherent barrier against particles down to 1.0 micron in size, with protection built into the fabric itself, eliminating the risk of abrasion or wear on films or laminates. Its durability surpasses that of microporous film fabrics, ensuring consistently better barrier performance even after wear and abrasion. Suitable applications include lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance/operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The inseam length of the garments is 31-1/2 inches.
