Tyvek® 400 garments are composed of flash spun high density polyethylene, creating a unique, nonwoven material exclusive to DuPont. This fabric offers an ideal balance of protection, durability, and comfort within limited use fabric technology. Tyvek® 400 fabric provides an inherent barrier against particles as small as 1.0 micron, with protection built directly into the fabric itself, eliminating concerns of films or laminates that could abrade or wear away. The durability of Tyvek® 400 fabric exceeds that of microporous film fabrics, ensuring consistently superior barrier performance even after wear and abrasion. Typical applications for these garments include lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance and operations, spray painting, and general clean-up tasks. The inseam length of the garments is 33-1/2 inches.
