Tyvek® 400 garments are composed of flash spun high density polyethylene, resulting in a unique, nonwoven material exclusively available from DuPont. Tyvek® 400 provides an ideal balance of protection, durability, and comfort among limited use fabric technologies. It offers an inherent barrier against particles as small as 1.0 micron, with protection built directly into the fabric—eliminating the risk of abrasion or wear associated with films or laminates. The durability of Tyvek® 400 fabric surpasses that of microporous film fabrics, ensuring consistently superior barrier performance even after wear and abrasion. Suitable applications for these garments include lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance and operations, spray painting, and general clean-up, with an inseam length of 30-1/2 inches.
