Tyvek® 400 garments are composed of flash spun high-density polyethylene, creating a unique, nonwoven material available exclusively from DuPont. This fabric offers an ideal balance of protection, durability, and comfort, making it one of the best options for limited-use fabric technology. Tyvek® 400 fabric provides an inherent barrier against particles down to 1.0 micron in size, with protection built directly into the fabric—eliminating the risk of abrasion or wear that can occur with films or laminates. Its durability advantage over microporous film fabrics ensures consistently better barrier performance, even after wear and abrasion. Common applications for Tyvek® 400 garments include lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance and operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The inseam length for the garments is 31-1/2 inches.
