Tyvek® 400 garments are made from flash spun high density polyethylene, resulting in a unique, nonwoven material exclusive to DuPont. This fabric provides an optimal balance of protection, durability, and comfort among limited-use fabric technologies. Tyvek® 400 fabric offers an inherent barrier against particles as small as 1.0 micron, with the protection embedded in the fabric itself, eliminating the risk of abrasion or wear associated with films or laminates. Its superior durability compared to microporous film fabrics ensures consistently better barrier performance even after wear and abrasion. Suitable applications include lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The inseam length of the garments is 32-1/2 inches.
