Tyvek® 400 garments are made from flash spun high density polyethylene, resulting in a unique nonwoven material that is exclusively available from DuPont. This fabric provides an optimal balance of protection, durability, and comfort among limited use fabric technologies. The inherent barrier of Tyvek® 400 fabric protects against particles down to 1.0 micron in size, and since the protection is built into the fabric itself, there are no films or laminates that can abrade or wear away. Additionally, Tyvek® 400 fabric exhibits superior durability compared to microporous film fabrics, ensuring consistent barrier performance even after wear and abrasion. These garments are suitable for various applications, including lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance and operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The inseam length of the garments is 28-1/2 inches.
