Tyvek® 400 garments are composed of flash spun high density polyethylene, creating a unique nonwoven material available exclusively from DuPont. The Tyvek® 400 fabric provides an ideal balance of protection, durability, and comfort among limited use fabric technologies. It features an inherent barrier against particles as small as 1.0 micron, with protection built directly into the fabric, eliminating concerns about films or laminates that may abrade or wear away. The durability of Tyvek® 400 fabric offers a significant advantage over microporous film fabrics, ensuring consistently better barrier performance even after wear and abrasion. These garments are suitable for applications including lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance and operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The inseam length of the garments is 30 inches.
