Tyvek® 400 garments are made from flash spun high density polyethylene, resulting in a unique nonwoven material exclusive to DuPont. This fabric offers an exceptional balance of protection, durability, and comfort that is characteristic of limited use fabric technologies. Tyvek® 400 provides an inherent barrier against particles as small as 1.0 micron, with protection embedded within the fabric itself, eliminating the risk of abrasion or wear associated with films or laminates. Its durability surpasses that of microporous film fabrics, maintaining a superior barrier even after exposure to wear and abrasion. Common applications for Tyvek® 400 include lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance and operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The garments feature an inseam length of 28 inches.
