Tyvek® 400 garments are composed of flash spun high density polyethylene, creating a unique, nonwoven material available only from DuPont. This fabric offers an ideal balance of protection, durability, and comfort among limited use fabric technologies. Tyvek® 400 provides an inherent barrier against particles as small as 1.0 micron, with protection built into the fabric itself, eliminating the risk of films or laminates abrading or wearing away. The durability of Tyvek® 400 fabric surpasses that of microporous film fabrics, ensuring consistently better barrier performance even after wear and abrasion. It is suitable for various applications, including lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance and operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The inseam length for these garments is 29 inches.
