Tyvek® 400 garments are composed of flash spun high density polyethylene, creating a unique, nonwoven material available exclusively from DuPont. This fabric offers an ideal balance of protection, durability, and comfort among limited use fabric technologies. Tyvek® 400 fabric features an inherent barrier against particles as small as 1.0 micron, with protection built into the fabric itself, eliminating concerns of films or laminates that can abrade or wear away. Its durability surpasses that of microporous film fabrics, providing consistently better barrier performance even after wear and abrasion. Common applications include lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance/operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The inseam length is 30-1/2 inches.
